1. INTRODUCTION
Model+model creates for you high quality 3d models. Now you can easily add more details to your scenes and greatly save your time. Model+model also gives you the opportunity to choose whether to buy a single model or purchase a large number of models in one volume at a very attractive price. All our models available in different formats with all textures.
2. HOW TO USE
2.1 GENERAL
We do our best to make all products simple to use. The name of any file contains the volume number, the product number and some description. For example mpm_vol.04_p01_vray.MAX means the product number 1 from volume 4 prepared for use in *.max scenes with vray rendering system. Some models are provided with different materials. All available variations are showed in jpg-previews, in pdf-catalogue of the volume and at the site www.modelplusmodel.com. To get a model with another material do the following: select the model, choose the material you want from the material library or *.mat file and assign it. Note that materials are available only for 3ds Max scenes with scanline or v-ray rendering system. V-ray materials are available in gamma 1.0 and 2.2.
2.2 ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTS
The scenes of the Volume 4 "Architectural Lights" have rigged and standard version. The rigged version is available for 3ds Max format only. To apply the transformation to the spotlight you just need to move the light source target point. For the model number 9 there are additional dummies to control the spotligt body transformations. The standard version goes without rig but has appropriate objects links and Pivot points, therefore it is also easy to create custom light positions by moving or rotating the objects against each other. Note, that before transformation you should specify the right reference coordinate system (usually "View" or "Local").
The standart version may seem to have unappropriate Pivot points when merging it to some versions of 3ds Max. To correct the Pivot points select the model, go to "Hierarchy" panel and press "Affect Pivot Point Only" button. Then you need to choose Move action and/or Rotate action. The Pivot points should move to the right places.
Each 3d model goes with one or several IES files. If you need to assign IES file in 3ds Max do the following: select the photometric light, make sure that in "Intensity/Color/Distribution" rollout the light distribution is set to "Web", choose IES file via "Web Parameters" rollout. You could find the light distribution jpg-preview for each IES file in "ies" folder.

All digital products (including free and promotional products) or files that accompany it, such as textures or images are the property of model+model and cannot be resold, assigned, published or otherwise redistributed. Any product can be used for private or commercial use only if one of the following is applicable:
- the product was bought by you from model+model or partner website;
- the product was downloaded as a free product from model+model or partner website;
- the product was granted to you by modelplusmodel for promotional or other purposes.
Models or textures can be modified in any way in order to conform them to their needs. However, any such modifications are still derivatives of the original and cannot be sold or distributed.
